Dr IT Group has been established by Smt. Kaushalaya Devi Memorial Educational Trust (Regd.), Chandigarh.  The Trust is managed by a governing body headed by Shri M.K. Mahajan, a renowned Chartered Accountant and a philanthropist.  He is associated with number of social, religious and educational societies and is known for his high moral and professional standards.  The Institute has been promoted by M/s. Dr ITM Limited, a leading company which has laid its mark in the field of Information Technology.  M/s. Dr ITM Limited is an ISO 9001:2000 company which has its offices in Chandigarh, Mohali, Greater Noida, Jaipur and Auckland (New Zealand). Shri J.B. Goyal, IAS (Retd.), an experienced administrator, writer and educationalist is the Vice Chairman of the Institute.

 Ms. Deepti Mahajan, MBA a young and vibrant visionary is the Chief Executive Officer of the Institute.  She has rich experience of administering the affairs of a fast growing company engaged in the field of Information & Technology.

Now the Group intends to start a first ever School of Business Management offering PGDBM  (Session 2006-07) in Punjab catering to the needs of Tri-City and Tri-State, i.e., Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. The purpose is to impart quality management education, with full flexibility to amend its courses as per the new requirements and new growth processes in the fast changing scenario
